CHECK OUT SOME OF THE STUFF WE HAVE, THE STUFF WE USE AND THE PEOPLE WE’VE WORKED WITH

We love instruments, and we guess that you love them as well – check these out.
We specialise in, and love our excellent equipment.
Here’s a list of the wonderful folk who we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

HEY, THIS IS

ATHLETIC SOUND!

If you need a studio with great sound, top equipment and experienced, friendly staff, then you need Athletic Sound.

Founded in 1983 by renowned producer Kai Anderson (Dr Kai) and tucked away in the Norwegian town of Halden, Athletic Sound is located in an 18th century school building in the heart of the town.

Athletic Sound is a studio based on traditional analogue values, built around a NEVE v1 48 channel console and supported by a large collection of quality equipment – see our list for further details

Producers and artists all love working here (you can see what they say), the environment is relaxing and the sound created and captured is truly unique.

Halden is 120km outside Oslo, close to the Swedish border and just 55km from Rygge International Airport, making it an ideal location for artists wanting to immerse themselves in a relaxing, professional environment.

What people say about Athletic:

“…when when I entered the building for the first time, I felt like I’d been working there for longer.

It’s a wonderfully comfortable place that added a wonderful vibe to my record.

The gear is all top notch and the staff were indispensable”

JOHN AGNELLO, PRODUCER
